Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

If you are unable to get to your nearest supermarket collection point due to being shielded or having to self-isolate, donations can be bought via Bankuet.

If you are able to drop off food donations, please see below for our regular food collection point locations (please note that during the current Covid 19 crisis, the church based collection points will be closed.  However, the supermarket based collection points will still be available).

Tesco and/or Asda permanent collection points are intended for food that has been purchased in-store. Any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought into the permanent collection point store should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
